And how could you guys say you would take the fd over the f430, whats wrong with you. The fd is a great car, especially for $15,000, but some of you put it way too high on a pedestal. Maybe its just rx7 patriotism.

 

Try pulling that logic off in some other countries. I know countries where a brand new Rx7 FD3S was AT LEAST 140,000 USD. (not a typo). Most people take stuff for granted in the states anyway.

Regardless many people bought them at that price even. The age difference, + generation gap is too different to draw a direct comparison.

I love the F430 too. Especially a white hardtopper, but the ferrari and rx-7 are 2 totally different cars with benefits to each.

PS: In the same country that an FD Rx7 costs an arm and a leg, i saw an F430 and a Flat Black LP640 Murcielago. Imagine the price of admission.

It is a very humbling thought.

i can not imagine one aspect where a fd has a benefit over that Ferrari with the exception of cost and maybe weight.

but yah.. i guess if you were already extremely rich and where an rx7 meant more to you than a f430.. then props for liking the 7 heritage/history or whatever ur infatuation is hahah.. (The ferrari will still have more heritage haha)

other than that anyone who chooses the mazda over the ferrari has got to be shitting their own ***** for breakfast lunch and dinner..

Only if the 7 had around 150grand in mods maybe but even then itd be a hard choice cuz the ferrari is just that damn hot

Not every car made my Ferrari was a hit anyway. There are QUITE a few misses too.

I would take a clean FD Rx-7 HANDS DOWN ANYDAY of the week over a stock *** 360 modena (i hate these cars). I would rather drive a 355 over a base 360 modena.
