the scratches are not deep at all and I am very interested in this solution as I like the stock black look. If you could post some pics or the pieces you are working on I would really appreciate it as I might take them all out this weekend and do the same.

 

Here are some pictures of her all done. Everything is fixed and/or completed except for my Innovative wideband gauge above the steering wheel. It is getting tuned in 2 days by Steve Kan, I can't wait. Tell me what you guys think about the pics.

Heres some pics of mine fresh out of the paintshop about a couple months ago. Added 99spec lip, OEM Apexi side skirts, factory mud guards, and factory spoiler. Ordering Gram lights 57s pro wheels today. Hopefully I get them in a couple months.

right now you do have the stock black look. the "gunk" is supposed to be there. mine is almost all gone behind the shifter thanks to a watch scratching it all off. nice looking car though.

 

that's where the meets i've been to up there are. i'm not sure about rx-7 meets, but southfloridaracing meets there every thursday, i believe. and of course there's always some rotaries at tower shops in plantation every friday. here's a pic from last friday.

thanks Kai, i must say I was going to go with your setup, and would have loved to repaint my car green, but I just don't have the ***** =P. When you move to frisco, we must meet up and do a really nice photoshoot...

and update on the car... comes back in .. 10 hours.. hopefully

^I've never seen that kit before, what kind is that? The only V-mount I've seen sits slanted the other way. Looks good though.

 

It's not a kit, we fabricated everything. The intercooler core is basically flat, which with the hood should work ok, but since im axing the power steering and AC now we'll probably lower it down more like most other vmount setups are.

Oh I gotcha. I would love to fabricate EVERYTHING on my car, haha. Make it "one off" as much as possible, kinda hard to copy something like that, haha.
