Holy Vacuum Hoses Batman!

 

Hey Elliot, man I haven't heard from you in a while. On stock non-sequential turbos, my car made ~289 hp/243 ft-lb peak SAE corrected, smoothing factor = 5 to the wheels on a dynojet @ 13 psi bleeding off to 11 psi @ redline (I've since resolved my boost bleeding off @ higher revs). The motor/IC/turbos were starting to get a little heat soaked at the end. I ended up getting about 20 hp/ft-lb more out of the tune, the torque across the RPM range was up too... car feels a hell of a lot better on the street I've been beating the **** out of it, have about 1000 miles on the new tune, no issues thus far! Wow, I love that paint color, just love it. What are your wheel/tire specs & suspension settings/specs? Car looks great, although I'm not a fan of biggish wings on FDs

Yeah, I too prefer go-fast parts to look-fast parts. No wing looks slick, but the wing isn't bad, just gives it that Supra look.

I saw this one for sale a little bit ago in the for sale section and if memory serves me right its got the Apexi RX6 single turbo kit on there. I'm hoping you at least knew that prior to purchasing.

 

Yes, it has a single turbo kit with some Apexi parts. The turbo is made by IHI. Do you know the specs on it?

noone is.. but that is by far the best aftermarket wing on the market thats a compromise between functionality and clean look ...
that is by no means in the same category as big wings.. unlike the 99 spec imho..

It's a good turbo... 400hp, little to no lag.

I agree, as stated before, it spools up faster than my BNR stage 2 which uses a stock housing. When I was checking out the car, I was impressed with the smoothness of the shaft spin, only later did I discover it was a ball bearing turbo. My BNR in my second gen was putting over 300hp to the rear wheels. This one is so much faster. My *** dyno says about 400 horses. What other car can you pick up for 15K that can run with Z06s? I love rotaries. That being said, I'm going for a drive...

 

dito, wat the hell? my stock tt setup has like 60-70, but his apexi single turbo prob only req a few.

 

This car still has quite a pit of stock wiring that is not connected to anything. I'll take my time and figure it out before I start pulling **** though. Also, still has the oil metering pump. As an FC owner, I pulled it and was running premix. Are you FD guys keeping yours?

 

Nice to see Twin Turbo Teddy's ride in great shape. And this is the first car I had ever seen the Feed tail on. Congrats QBALL great 240 also.

only paid 400 with tires...figured it looked better than stock... going to put racing tires on stock rims soon
