I heard they have better brakes than an FD, stock vs. stock.

 

+1 I got to drive a lot of rx-8s when I worked at the Mazda dealer. Im going to be starting at a different one in a week. The 8 is was more fun to drive than my FC but the FD takes the cake hands down.

 

There is a CLEEEEAN '93 Silverstone on eBay right now with an LS2. 22K miles.

 

here's my fd. I hate the color but it's a workin progress. hopefully soon everything will be black on black.

 

Black will look nice. I my self also dislike that blue. Its a nice color but not on a FD.

No, I just bought it for the love of god everyone wants to part them lol. This one was parted into pieces luckily I got most of the pieces. I am going to sell the kit if anyones interested.

I got a couple of pms after I posted that I was getting work done down in Tijuana Mexico. So I'll update:

so anyway I got a call from the body shop to come down and approve the work prior to final paint. These pics are from this afternoon, again take note that these are cell phone pics. The pics are of the initial paint to see if I like the color and what not. The color is NOT CYM BTW.









I am going to have them remove the 99 lip, and everething from the trunk (i forgot about that). Other than that I am extremely happy with these dudes. Engine bay will be painted in the U.S. at the time of the rebuild.

I will say it been really cost effective to get body work done down there.

 

I have a ton of pics of my car, but I don't feel she is very photogenic I'm very picky about which ones I actually keep...
