Post Some Pics of your FD! :D <- Pics of your car go in this thread!!
Thanks Guys! Yes, the car was in Sept '06 Modified mag. She made 357.2whp on stock twins with 133,xxx miles on them! She's made 3 sub 12 second 1/4 passes but as Mahjik says I built her for the road course, and that's where she shines! Thanks on the Esprit, I bought her about 18months ago as a derelict non runner and about have her up to factory Sport 300 race specs. Put a new wastegate and turbo on a few weeks ago in hopes of eclipsing 300 wheel HP. Be thankful for the ease of upgrades in the FD, they are so much easier and more HP friendly than many other cars! This Esprit has consumed a lot of money to get to close in on 300 Wheel HP! My FD made over 300 Whp with a $750 computer from Pettit and a $300 dp and $300 midpipe and $500 exhaust 7 years ago! The Esprit is lighter by 167 lbs than my FD but feels much heavier due to the flexible chassis structure.
Cheers for the comments guys. The wheels are made by a company called ultralite and are 18x8.5" front & 9.5" rear, ET35 all round!
Yeah the front mount is pretty battered, i bought it off a guy off another forum (mazdarotaryclub.com) he didn't let on how battered it was till i'd already got for it! Had it pressure tested though and doesn't have excess pressure drop so will do for the time being!
The rear light's are standard pre-99 spec that i took apart, stencilled and painted!
They look like this-
