^I was serious about being jealous, the taillights were the only things I wouldn't go for though.
Damn Attila, your car is looking CLEAN!!! I also like the relocated HVAC controls. I have yet to put in the V-mount I got from you, HAHA. I like yours though. Do you plan on getting a vented hood to expel the heat from the IC? We were talking to Shine a while back about making one with one big vent over the IC made specifically for V-mounts but I think the deal fell through. Just a thought.

As far as hoods, I was thinking of using one of our own, but we've kinda gone into hiatus. My intake temps have been pretty good at 30-35 with outside temps of 89 while moving on the freeway.
BTW. Some have asked what V-mount kit I'm using. It's actually a Blitz FMIC that I converted to a V-mount setup and modified a Koyo to work with it. Some additional pics can be found on my build thread here:

Here are some more pics of the FD that I have won at auction in Japan. I knew that the car had been repainted but the colour is not as it looked in my earlier post and the engine bay is still in the origional red which is a bit disapointing.
Is this normal for a re-spray not to paint under the hood?
Also, please take a look at the overall condition of the car, it states that there is only 64,000km on the clock so if anything sticks out like a sore thumb please let me know. I have not paid in full for the car yet so could still back out at this point!
Im asking you guys as you know all about FD's and this will be my first, so any advice would be welcomed!!
Thanks,
George.

i guess its a mid 95 model, type RB. Its very common to just repaint the outside and not engine bay cos it adds A LOT to the cost of the respray, especially in Japan where labour is expensive. If you got it at auction the non resprayed engine bay would make the car a grade 0. Are fds really that rare that you cant buy locally? buying a fd from Japanese auctions is hit and miss, usually miss cos dealers cant move them off their lots so pass them off to auctions to sell quickly.
But i feel I could be also over reacting to the engine bay thing...would a non resprayed engine bay make the car difficult to sell in the future?? I have been told that the car is ok mechanically...is this reason enough to turn it down? A bit confused now!!
There are local ones but they tend to be more expensive and are all Jap imports anyway, this is my reasoning behind importing myself ie. save money and get to pick from a better choice of cars.

Thanks! Post some pics of the relocated controls... And I can't believe you haven't installed the V-mount yet. Hasn't it been like a year?

No, I mean I like YOUR relocated controls, haha. I want to do mine like that though. The only way I've ever seen them til now is down on the center console, but I like yours better. Yeah it's been over a year I think, haha. I've just been waiting for my engine to go, and I think it may have finally given up the ghost, back in March actually. So it may be going in soon. When you first said you were going to use "one of our own" I thought you meant one from RX7club, but you have a company of your own or something right? I forgot about that. PM me your website please, I don't remember what it is (or of course you could post it here too for a shameless plug, haha). And I've seen your build thread before too...masterpiece.

It's on Lowell-Snohomish River Rd in Everett. The road runs along the Snohomish River from Lowell Rd in Everett to Avenue D in Snohomish. I believe the actual address can be seen on the sign: 1600 Lowell Snohomish River Rd and it's an Everett address.
