What is up with people not running IC ducts???

 

IC ducts are for suckas! ahahah I plan for V-mount after the break in and before tuning. Heres some pictures of the paint close up so you can see the flake.

 

But why run around without a duct AT ALL? It's just plain dumb.

 

Lack of understanding. The people who don't have one (and continue to drive the car) most likely don't understand the what its purpose is and what can happen without it.

 

Oh I agree, but my point is that if you don't understand the purpose or consequences of removing/altering something....leave it the hell alone. It just pains me to see cars run like that.

 

Well said. Reminds me of these people who weld heavy *** slabs of steel onto the center sections of their PPFs only to add dead weight and increase the likelihood of breaking a mounting finger (which we know is the area that fails in the first place).

they're bad quality from my cell but it's all i have until i get a new digital camera

 

i dont have an ic duct because i dont drive my car daily or often at all, i dont have it on insurance so its not driven. I want to get done to it what i want done before i start driving it, and i wont put it on my insurance until i start driving it. so its not because im ignorant, or think it looks cool without it or anything like im sure im gettin brow beat for.

well here are pics of my car! finally got the smic and the piping for it! also installed the greddy pulley kit! and wire wheeled what ever i can and got some new tires! let me know what guys think!

Do you realize the intercooler ain't doing much w/o a duct?
Missing an air filter too.
