I've been lurking on the forums for a little while now... this will be the first time I've posted pics of my car though. I took these just before shipping it from America to the UK on Monday. Nothin' crazy lookin.. but I like her the way she is (if anything I'll add some rims with my next bonus, after I get a wideband O2 sensor put on)

I wasn't trying to be all ricer with these pics... just took from the angle so I can have proof if anything is dented when she arrives here...

i don't see how taking pics at an angle is ricey...it's sort of offensive actually to the people that have interset in photography. it me it is at least..

there is nothing ricey about it..it's just photography.

but why are you shipping an FD from US to UK may i ask?

I really don't mean any offense by butting in...but i believe it was work related. I know he was looking to buy my old FD and that one brings back a LOT of memories. It looks just like mine did.

I didn't mean to offend.

I am shipping it because I moved, and I don't see any point in leaving the car behind.

Yeah, I remember that RE-Amemiya... why did you change your handle?

^ Scrub, I really love your car...it's obviously clean and great example of fine work. My favorite is the VMIC, which is the icing on the cake IMO.

Thats the Mazda booth right? Howd you get it in there? By the end of this year my car will have a similar level of mods as yours, it'd be cool to have my car in the Mazda booth next time HIN is in town.

FDZero, thanks I appriciate it. The v-mount IC will be swapped soon for my own design (bigger core).

aoc007,
You're correct...it is in the Mazda booth. I pretty much just got lucky and they told me to move my car. The green car behind mine is ALWAYS in the mazda booth on a pedistal, and they put my car right in front of it (The owner was REALLY PISSED). It was a good time though, I didn't really care that he was pissed, he's just one of those team emo kids.

AOC007 is sort of correct. It's the Rotary Extreme v-mount for twins, modified for a single.....pretty much the same, just the hot side of the piping had to be re-welded.

Cool lights. That's something I have not seen before and it doesn't look half bad.

Looks just as I remember it Dan, clean enough to eat off of! The only thing you may do is paint the fluid bottles with some black spray paint.
Is your V-mount going to have radiused end tanks by chance?

Maybe created the same way they do the "99" spec conversion lights. painting in a stencil until the desired look is achieved.

I've only seen lights with specific designs in video games.

These tails would make me squeal like a little girl if i could find them:
