PFC &temp gauge read diff, wich one is right?

ok ive been running this problem through my head for a while...

rxrx7's car is the one with the problem, but im basically his part time mechanic and i cant figure it out
we've been slowly building up his car one of the first thisng i did was install a temp gauge, intalled the sender right on the flat spot on the thermostat housing, its a cyberdyne gauge&sender, well his car was running hot even with the fan mod...so we installed a koyo rad along with many other goodies and a Pfc &comander....now to the wierd part
on the cyberdyne it will read 210 crusing-- 85 deg c on the comander
then through lightly spirited driving the cyberdyne will read 230's-240 wich i know is high but will read 93-95 deg cel on the comander, he rides the gears a bit but that cant account for such high temps could it?temps were taken on a80 deg day
he said on the way home (45min high way drive from my house) the temps were l;ike 90 on the pfc but off the scale on the cyberdyne....
weve flushed the coolant system, 170 deg thermo, the mix is prob 15/85 mabe more like 10/90 is their anything im missing? a bad thermo sensor?
b/c my car ( i bypassed the ac so i drive with the fans on all the time) i get temps slightly below 180 crusing then through rough driving 190 but 1 min after lettin off it drops back to 180 and i have stock rad 10/90 colant mix and a 180 thermo
any one got any ideas? b/c im out
