PFC ecu question

I just bought Jason's old Peter Ferrell PFC. I just installed it on my 93' with SS DP,K & N drop in filter, cat back exhaust. There are three settings, the first of which is suppose to run close to stock, here my boost only gets to about 5-6 psi, but everything is very smooth. The other two settings the boost spikes up to 12-15 and very rough and runs like crap. I am very new to the controller and am wondering if anyone has some suggestions on how to get this thing to work properly, or if the best bet is to have the car tuned by a shop-- and if so does anyone know of a good shop in the Chicago area? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Chances are if your only getting 5-6psi you have another problem totally aside from the PMC. If all else fails, give Jason a call.
