newbie question...

hi all, well, ive been thinking about getting an RX7 really bad, the only cons ive noticed about it is that i might have to be replacing the engine when it dies out... that should be a lot of $$$. and ive also seen that maintainance for the car has to be top priority, which is cool and should be for every car. my only question for right now is, what are the specs on the '93 RX7 turbo and non turbo models? since im only 17 at the moment, i might not be able to get the turbo seven, so can someone please post up engine specs on the 2? thanks.

no non-turbos after '91 - all third gens (93 - 95) are twin turbo unless modified by their owner

that being said, the 93 - 95 has the following stats:
255 hp / 210 tq
0-60: ~5.2
1/4mi: mid to upper 13's

plan on replacing the engine before the 100k mile mark - it will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $3K.

and, if you're 17, plan on paying a butt load for insurance.
