Question Manual radiator fan switch

I have a 3rd gen and I want to be able to turn the radiator fan on manually with a switch in the center console. I know that there are fan relays and you can get different fan speeds by turning certain relays on. What my goal to do is to be able to turn the fan on the highest setting while I'm driving, and when I turn the ignition off, have the fan run for up to 10 min like they normally do. I was thinking I might have to tie this mod into a turbo timer? I'm looking for detailed explainations on how I can make this work PLEASE!?

I had a shop do the fan mod for me when they upgraded the radiator. My doesn't always come on when I turn the car off. But if it does it last about 10 minutes. I do not have a switch either.
