Cracked PPF... where can I get a new one?

Hi guys...
I removed the Tranny today... And noticed that the PPF "Power Plant Frame" was broken as soon a I removed the Top Front nuts... I probally can get it welded back togethor but not sure
on how long it will last...

I know Corksport has a Mazdaspeed one for $370... but is there
any others that are cheaper out there... I'm sure the Mazdaspeed one it good though...

Does anyone know what the stock one will cost?
Just getting my engine and turbos rebuilt... God Will it EVER STOP
with ALL the ADDED EXSPENSES???

Is the MAZDASPEED PPF worth that Price?
thanks for the replies... jc...

Stock will crack again. I have the Mazdaspeed PPF and it works great. Steve Kan had his welded by RP several times and it cracked again and again. This was the reason I just purchased the Mazdaspeed one. Be sure your other bushings are ok, else that will put more stress on your new PPF and you might just break it again.

How can you tell if the PPF is broken or not....without getting under the car

Does it make a noise or drive funny or something like that?

What causes them to break??? Power or wheel hop or something like that?

Later,

I couldn't tell untill I removed it... just replacing engine
with rebuild one... I think it mostly whell hop that makes it break... If you're running more hp than stock... I think that makes it worse... The factory one was designed to work with 255 hp...
just found out that RX.com has these for sale...

Yeah, RP has them and the only real way to tell is by getting under the car. If you hear clunks from the back end, then start to get worried.
