Question How do you replace oil metering lines?

After hours of playing Sherlock Holmes, someone on the forum pointed out that my massive oil leak might be from the oil metering lines (they were correct). The problem is that I can't find any reference to replacing them in the manual. Has anyone done this before? If so, can you tell me what is the best way to go about it?

Any Help is Appreciated,

Dustin

I don't think there's necessarily a "trick" which is why you've received no replies. Those lines are mounted on the top left side of the block and run down to the bottom left front corner where the oil metering pump is. By the looks of it, to replace them you're gonna have to remove everything on top (intake manifolds, rats nest, etc) ... the airbox (intake ... whatever) and whatever else might get in your way getting to the oil metering pump. That's not a "trick" ... that's just a lot of work. You may be able to leave the AC and radiator in if you can get to it from the bottom (I'm not sure). But it's possible that the AC compressor, the condensor, the radiator, and the water pump may all have to come out ... I haven't exactly tackled the same job myself. But I know the lay of the lines and what I described above is the minimum to getting to them.
