Hose Techniques kit. 3.5 or 4.0mm Vac hose?

I am looking at buying the Hose Techniques kit to do my vacuum hose replacement. I read at http://rx7.voodoobox.net/howto/vachose/vacjob.html and http://www.rx7turboturbo.com/robrobinette/hoses.htm that you need 35-40 feet of 4mm hose and 16-17feet of 6mm. The Hose Techniques kit says they use 3.5mm hose and not 4.0mm for most to the vacuum line. What do you guys think. Has anyone used any ofHose Techniques stuff before? Do I use 3.5mm of 4.0mm?

This is the Hose Techniques RX-7 kit web site: http://cyber.virtualrep.com/hosetech...81370891735240

i used their 3.5mm and it works fine...you don't even need tie wraps for a good tight connection. if you call their customer service they will tell you to use their 3.5mm as well. get the 3.5mm.

Thanks. I'll go with 3.5mm.

yes go with the 3.5mm, the 4.0mm is thin-walled, only good for the winshield wiper piece
