HELP!!!Broke a bolt off the throttle body

I broke the top front (top left looking from the diver side fender) bolt that mounts the intake elbow.
Can this be repaired easily?
Will I have to get a new FREAKING TB because of this bolt?
This is pushing to the edge. I feel like setting the car on fire and getting inside. Everything I tough is going to CRAP.

hey dude...i was in the same boat as you
I was on the edge with frustration with the car and then the TB bolt snapped.
Luckily its an easy fix
take the other bolts off and remove the elbow (its on the elbow right?)
Then use a wrench and just turn it counterclock and pull it out.
The hard part is finding another bolt that is the same legnth.
I managed to find one from the local rx7 shop here.
pm me if you have any more questions

If you broke the stud off, just take some vise grips and unscrew it and find a bolt to take its place, a bolt from the stock airbox should fit it.

If that already happened and there was a bolt in place of it and you broke the bolt off in there, just drill it out and retap it.

It's not as bad as you think and NO, no one sells the studs unless you can get one off of a used TB.

Hmmmm....this may explain why I had 3 studs and a bolt to start with. Now it seems I will have 2 studs and 2 bolts.

Thanks guys. Let you know how it goes.

Don't worry about the stud it's replaceable. I did the same thing in June and I replaced it. Take some WD-40 and lubricate the stud, use a vice grip and unscrew the remaining stud. Autozone has a replacement that is the exact size but is just a bit longer but it works fine. The Sku # is 329306. Good luck

Fixed. Thanks for the support.

The broken stud came out easily. A friend from work who loves to work on cars helped. He even had a replacment stud in a bucket of nuts and bolts that he has collected over the years.

The stud came from a Renault of all things.

Question: Since I've owned this car, it came with studs and 1 bolt for the intake elbow/tb mount. Is it supposed to be 4 studs?

Now back to finding my 8 or 9-5-5 psi problem. I am so unqualified...its scary.

The TB comes with 4 studs, if you want to replace that bolt up at the above post.

Are all four the same even with that bracket that slips over the 2 lower studs?
