Getting the Alternator out?

Getting the Alternator out?
I've gotten the screws out and the wires diconnected and now i have push it down about 1/4 of an inch but can get the belt off or get it to move. Any help?

Alternator removal
Coolduke,
If you still have an air pump you'll need to loosen it to remove the alternator. If not, make sure the long attachment bolt that goes thru the passenger side mount is loosened, otherwise it won't go low enough to come off. Also, you'll need to loosen up the adjustment bracket to slide the mounting/adjusting point around the bracket arm that sticks upward. Once you do that, then she'll come out.
