downpipe install help
Slowly but surely
I think I'm going to break the record for longest downpipe installation. I finally got the four nuts off the precat/turbo housing. 3 studs stayed in. Also disconnected the precat from the main cat. However, I can't get the damn precat to come off the turbo. I think it is stuck at the two bottom studs, because the upper part can pull away a little. I hope this is worth it!!!

Don't feel bad. It took me about 6 hours total. I spread it over 3 days so that I wouldn't loose my mind. That top back bolt is a pain in the as$ to get off.
Then, I had to use every bit of strength to get the bolts of at the mid pipe. I ended up stripping one of those studs and had to back it out with a vice grip. I ended up just buying some M12 zinc plated bolts from the hardware store and using them instead of the studs.

Patrick
