broken hose nipple on solenoid
Does anyone know if any of the 2nd gen solenoids are compatible with the 3rd gens? I was removing my intake while one of the vacuum hoses pulled and broke a solenoid connection.

YES!!!! They are. I have a 3rd gen and broke off my turbo control solenoid nipple. I did not use a 2nd gen, but used a first gen solenoid. It works fine. They're all the same number on them, just make sure the configuration is the same, there are 3 types of configs, I believe. Hope this helps.

I HAVE ALL THE SOLINOIDS FOR SALE FOR CHEAP. I BROKE ONE ON MY CAR, REPLACED IT FOR $50, AND THEN WOUND UP THROWING IT ON THE SHELF IN THE GARAGE WHEN I DID MY SINGLE TURBO CONVERSON.

All 2 prong solinoids are the same from 1st gens. 2nd & 3rd.gens.
go to the junk yard they will onlt cost a few dollars a each.
Just note what color plug is attached and go find one. All first gens have the same colors and function, with the exeption of the gray plug wich is white on a firts gen. Simple and cheep!
