This book is a must have! They have dozens of them at M2 Performance. I had mine signed at Sevenstock by the major designers of the car! Now it's a collector!

The author is Jack Yamaguchi

There is also a good paperbound called The Rx7 Performance Handbook. The author is Mike Ancus. It gives history of the Rx7 and good onfo on all 3 generations. Also on modifying. You can learn just about everything is explains on this forum, but it is cool to it in front of you..Check it out.G.

Well first of all, It is the quintessential 3rd gen Rx-7 Coffee table book, 280 pages, along with many beautiful spreads of the car. It has all the stories and theories in design of the car.

Chapter 1 Driving Impressions
Chapter 2 Technical analysis, concept, aerodynamics, interior, engine, drive train, chassis, body. Many specs, etc, etc.

Chapter 3, development, design,
Chapter 4, racing (787 IMSA GTU)
More and more…

It is definitely a must have book if you really love your FD!

They are out of print at amazon.com, they had a used one for $48, but M2 has them for $50 new. They said at Sevenstock they had more books than they knew what do with, so give them a call.

Yeah, I looked at M2 Performance just before you posted. I think that $50 could go towards something a little more important to me at this time. I need a boost gauge bad!

I agree that the Yamaguchi book is awesome.. beautiful pictures, and a detailed history of the car. Before you go spending $50 at M2 though, half.com lists them for $20 still for "like new" copies. I got mine there for that price and I got it in perfect condition as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks for sharing that link xmatt. I think I'll order one. Some moron is selling it on ebay for like $95! I'll be my 3rd RX-7 book. I have the other two (RX7 Performance and RX7 Sports Car). This is a great price and completes my collection!
