Auto launch

Hi
I'm going to a track to try some timed accelerations. I know launching the auto has been discussed but can anyone enlighten me again. How much of this will the box take?

Just engage the hold button, power brake it to about 2900 rpms and let her rip.

Almost forgot, do this in low, then shift your way up.

does wonders to your torque converter... once your TC is worn out you'll start slipping gears...you should get an aftermarket TC if you're planning to launch like that all the time
