Curently have stock BOSE system on 93FD. Doesn't sound as Deep as I recall when I test drove this car in 1993. Wonder if the speakers are just fatigued... Any suggestions on how to upgrade to get a deep rich surround sound??? Not looking to blast my ears off...just get good rich depth to the music. Thanks for your comments.

 

I installed an alpine head unit it my bose system sounds much better.

 

what is an alpine head unit???....Did you keep any of the existing components?

 

Upgrade you deck (head unit) get better (component) speakers and add a small powered sub. The Bose was good back in the day, but there's plenty of after market parts that will make your 7 Sound better. I have an R1 and the stereo in it sucked! I'm going to upgrade everything sooner or later. In my FC I upgraded to a 9 Speaker Setup that included two Alpine V12 Amps and other high quality stuff. It soon became a little too much and now I'm looking for a happy meduim. Good luck.
