Unhappy Audible boost leak, covered basics

I've noticed I haven't been able to reach normal boost levels for a few weeks. It's clearly not related to the warm temps either. Normally peak boost will max at 12.8 psi, now about 10.2. My greatest concern is the abnormal whoosh under acceleration. I've checked all hosse connections and everything is tight. The blow-offs are also working properly. How common is a deeper intake gasket problem?

check all of your rubber couplings. They might look fine but a lot of times the can get cracked and you can't tel untill you take them of and really inspect them.

I agree. I was having a problem that I thought I checked all of the hoses and connections. I took off the couplers from the hose that feeds from the intercooler to the Y-pipe and there it was. Craked under the hose clamp and facing downward. Just couldn't see it until I took it off.

Good luck!
