It's absolutly nuts.
Here's what's going on;
On Sunday the annual woodward dream cruise will be taking place on woodward avenue from 9 mile road (Ferndale) all the way to Pontiac (roughly 16 miles).
Woodward avenue was the place to race back in the good ol days (before radar and police helicopters!). This year they're expecting 1.5 MILLION (!) people. Did I say it was nuts.
Although it usually consists mostly of american classics,muscle cars,etc., everything shows up! You must come out!!
Actually all this week cruisers have been taking the street, forcing the cops to shut it down at 10pm. I work at woodward and 11 mile, and I can tell you right now it's packed already! Where else can you see a 68 mustang next to a Detomaso Pantera behind a Model T next to a Lamborghini? It's a good time. I'll keep an eye out for you!

No ****... You haven't read the newspaper or watched the news lately? The cruise has been going on for the past week! Anyhow, I tried going down on Wednesday and they closed Woodward off at 10:00pm... I was down tonight and it was just CRAZY traffic... Too much for my hot little 1.3... BUT i DID **** up a GN that tried getting up with me... 
THAT was fun, also had a nice S4 and R/T Viper....
Who are you? I don't know if I know you or not, I try to meet all the local FDs...
BTW: There's a bunch of imports that rented out Burger King for the day(just north of Coolidge), I may be there or at the "American Sign Shop" just south of 13 mile with a yellow C5 and a black Supra...

Dammit! I should have been down there a long time ago. My cable went out and I don't get the paper. I've been completely clueless as to what's going on in the outside world. I'll go today and tomorrow though.
