I'm getting my clutch replaced soon. The guy at my shop who replaced my engine(and did a good job of it) is charging me 420.00 labor. I'm getting a standard street clutch from Rotary Performance(can't afford the ACT) the clutch package is 359.00. So, I'm I getting ripped off by anyone?

 

I paid $400 for labor, I think that's pretty common.

 

I only paid a $100. The guy that I go to only charges me $20/hr and he only works on Mazda cars. Nice job too. Plus it's not your standard clutch. Check my sig.

 

If my recollection serves me correct the clutch I had replaced in my 2nd-gen many years ago ran me between $600-$700.
