last thursday i had a bunch of people over to hang out. one guy showed up in a 93 touring modded all out. t78, greddy FMIC, "race prepped" engine, S-afc, avcr, pfc...cwest nose and 19inch blitz rims. + tons of other stuff, $50k in it the guy said. he may even be on the forum, i forget.

i asked him about water temps and he said he was running 30C!!!! after making sure i heard him right i asked how he did that and he wouldn't tell me! man i thought we were supposed to stick together. anyway he had work done at the same shop i go to (kd rotary) and i'm heading there next tuesday so i'm gonna ask.
any ideas on how this could possibly done? or was it a misunderstanding or just straight unadulterated bs?

i'd like to mention that this rx7 kinda stole the show and that was an accomplishment- 5FDs, 99 Viper RT/10, 2 supras -one with nitrous, the other a t78. tough call who got the most attention...pics wednesday i hope!

30C is bullshit, or you didn't hear him right. Aside from being bad for combustion, and your engine woudl run like ****. I don't see it being possible even if you had thermostat opne all the way and fans runns all out, with freon. I mean most summer days here are 30C, that is the temp I get when I start my engine. He may be refering to air intake temps, in which case that is awesome, the fact thay he wouldn't tell you lends me to believe he is full of himself.
