13,500 RPM redline?

I met a guy last night who said he has a friend in northern CA that has a real bad *** FD, he thought it was a '95. Anyway, he said the interior is gutted, it has an all aluminum dash, roll cage, carbon fiber front end, and turbos off of a diesel truck or something. He said it still had the stock engine in it(possible porting though?), but pretty much everything else in the car was custom fabricated to show best results on a dyno. He also told me that it redlined at 13,500 RPMs. Now I'm guessing that if this car really exists that somebody on this board would know about it, and I would sure like to know more about it. Anyone???

Hahaha, I was thinking the same. Didn't say anything about racing an F-16 or anything though.

I'm sure it'd be possible to do that with a N/A rotory with ceramic seals and massive ports. But I'd be a race only engine. I think it'd be impossible with a stock engine and turbo, though. Lots of people like to lie about stuff like that. I met a kid who said he had a FD and ran 18psi on stock turbo and engine and redlined at 10K RPM's. And had a chip that moved his powerband up.
