Zeitronix output - look about right?

I did a quick data logging ride tonight. It's dark, about 60 degrees and 47% humidity.

Car is a 90 vert with a freshly rebuilt JDM Tii, Pineapple ports, RTek S5 1.8, 720/1000s, RP downpipe, Bonez cat, Corksport single exhaust. Stock intake. SAFC. It might have a couple hundred break-in miles on it.

This is part of a run at about half throttle; the pink line.

The white line is the boost. It gets to 5.5lbs and then bounces. That tells me the wastegate is working correctly.

The blue line is the RPM. I dont know why the line is bouncing like that. I certainly dont feel it so I'm guessing it is an anomaly.

The green line is the AFR. At 3200rpm it is 12.0 but climbs to 12.6 at 3600rpm and drops to 11.9 by 4000rpm. That suggests to me that I need to use the SAFC to fatten it up a bit from 3200 to 4000. Sound about right?

Thanks!

Jim

You just have a little electrical noise in your tach signal. That's not unusual. Cleaner grounds (or having a common ground between your Zeitronix and any additional grounding for the main engine harnesss) may or may not help.

As far as richening it up, well you can try. I recall your thread from a while back. There's only so much you can do with an EMS that doesn't have adjustable injector staging parameters. Recall also that the SAFC has no timing control so its effects on the timing curve are not completely predictable.
