Zanity rx7, finally.

this is mostly to help me remember stuff since i have major trouble in that area.
but also some questions and pictures (soon)towards the bottom.
all help is appreciated and any advice as well.

i finally got my rx7 fc3s.
its an '87 N/A.
got that tiny black wing on the back and sport suspension.
5 lug.
towed it home, was going to take some pics before starting work on it but i got too excited and just started right on it.
so far got most the interior out.
still got the dash, front carpet, and door panels.
quick vacuumed up all the nasty and mysterious stuff.

tomorrow, finish taking out the carpet and begin scrubbing like mad.
then i'll need to touch up the paint.
doesn't seem to be much, if any, rust so far.

so far i know i need new injectors and maybe a starter, need to bench test it first.
most likely need new battery terminals too.
also got to drain and replace all fluids.
should be fun.

i will have pics up by tommorrow and also a few questions to go with them i'm sure.

right now my first few ?'s is concerning the injectors.
since its n/a they should be 460cc right?
is it recommended to get 460's again or can i get 550cc's without running to rich?
and how would that affect the stock cpu?

also, my ecu is n326 18 881B.
is that right?
i'm not sure if this is the one that actually came with the car because it was in one of the trunk boxes.

Stick with the 460s. The car runs pig-rich anyway, 550s would be a step in the wrong direction. Also, I'm pretty sure N326 is the right ECU.

guess i should actually say whats been going on.

after pulling everything but dash and door panels on the interior, massive scrubbing and cleaning took place.
could not believe how dirty it was.

after all clean started spray canning the inside of the car.
got most of the first coat done.
cannot believe how much better it looks after painting.
really can't wait to finish painting it.

got a question though, does the cabin get hot without any kind of carpeting or matting or insulation stuffs?
i don't really want to put anything in for a while, but i don't exactly want to bake myself either.

You're going to love this weekend...more snow on the way.
I can sympathize as I've been working on a car project the past five weekends.
Of those, two have been comfortably warm and the other three were miserable.
Working on cars in the cold is no fun.

well, i'm in vegas until sunday so can't exactly work on it anyways.
i've been dying to get back though, less work=more car time.
good to know what to dress for the way back though.

do you have a garage or are you working on the street and driveway?
i don't, therefore any nice day we get is a gift.

Not all that bad! My 86 GXL has got truck bed liner sprayed into it instead of carpet.

It doesn't get any more hot than usual, even when driving around for a while. I live in texas too, it gets freakin hot! The sun is closer to the earth down here, I sware it!

Yours is in better condition than mine... i have a 86 base model that had dirt under almost every body part and was starting to create horrible rust.

soo loud at only 3,000rpm. his mufflers are shot.
and gave my battery terminals a good cleaning.
so i have electricity finally.
got my sunroof to close after a lot of wd-40.
does the sunroof on the s4 sports go all the way back or just pop open?

lol is this your fc or your friends

Anyways push up on the sunroof, it'll go up then.

Then remove it and clean the tracks and inspect it for anything blocking, mine will occasionally not close but mine wont open unless I push up

Oh wait even to go back I gotta push up, yeah take it apart somethings blocking it from going back
