you gotta see my free seats

hey, ill post pics tomorrow, i was just excited now so i had to post it. but anyways, my interior is done, i just needed seats. well, i got seats, totally free out of one of those chrysler conquests, and they are beautiful. full black leather racing buckets, they are Recaro style seats, kind of stiff with the individual panels of leather in the backrest, they are beautiful. i will have them in my car tomorrow hopefully, if i can fab up some good brackets, then ill post some pics.

my intentions are not to rain on yur parade but to only send out as much info to others from my experience. in 2 dys ive removed my seats and noticed a strange thing that i did not expect to see about fc seats ( other than the different bracket setups) the unique thing was on the passenger seat, everything other than the bolt ins look s the same until you take the seat apart. mazda changed the internal frame structure closest to the center console on the passenger seat. the tranny makes a hump and it looks like mazda had to modify their passenger seat frames (the butt part) to contour the hump the tranny produces. sorry if some words are funky but this thing is having problems when i go back to correct mistakes. if i press the space bar after relocating cursor it steals a letter from what ive already typed, if i try to correct spelling by typing in another letter it steals one from the sentence. aqnyways i hope they fit but dont be surprised if its a littl crooked.

my theor is....where theres a will theres a way. if you like the seats enough...youll take the time or effort to make it work for you.

gobblues press the insert key on your keyboard. That'll fix that gay problem. happens to me every once in a while and pisses me off.

That's because you accidently hit the Insert key, which is right above the Delete key. This toggles between insert and overtype modes. Very annoying...

ok, not sure how much they weigh, they feel pretty much the same weight as the stock seats, i just liked the look and feel alot better. i took the brackets off of my stock seats and fitted them onto the bottom of these things. it actually wasnt that big of a pain in the ***, the 2 were pretty close to the same size. i think they cme out damn good though, only thing is the drivers seat needs a small repair on the left wing of it.
