Yet another Prelude CAI question

The Prelude cold air intake does come in either one piece or two rite? Well I was just wondering if it would be better getting the one piece so I can cut it ANY where I need or the two piece thats already cut and might not be cut in the exact rite place I need it cut.

I got a 1 peice off of ebay and cut it myself. It was pretty easy. Just keep in mind where u're going to have your mass airflow sensor sit because it won't be perfect. Well mine wasn't anyways. Mine kinda sat up in an angle. I went to ACE hardware and bought 2 big 3 inch couplers and it all went together just fine.

I used the one piece as well. You just have to cut it properly and use those rubber 3" couplers. Since then I've switched to a cold air box instead. The AFM remains level, it's cheaper, works just as well, and easier to put together IMO.

Oh yeah, don't even think of using that horrible air filter with your FC, the one that comes with the kit is horrible. Get a good Apex'i filter (the 75mm w/universal flange fits well and can be had for a decent price on eBay.)
