Angry Yet another non starting 7!

Ok, Ive searched and cant find anything. I hope that you all can help. Its an 88 S4 N/A. I was driving home from work today and I went to accell from a stop and my car died. No smoke or anything, it just died on me. I have just replaced the AFM, fuel filter, and O2 sensor, and have checked the CAS, and the TPS. Both of which are in spec. My idle usually is slightly erratic when cold, then once warm it stays at 1k. I have been having an issue before this under accell at 2500 to 3000 RPM's the car would hesitate. Sometimes while driving the car would buck or jerk at random RPM's. I cant figure it out. The grounds seem ok, and I tried looking for a vacuum leak and couldnt locate one. The only mods it has is a K&N air filter and I took off the cats. Also right before this happened my radio quit working, it just flashes on and off along with the door warning light. And my factory security system has quit working as well. PLEASE HELP! This is my daily driver. Thanks guys!

The hesitation could be a short. I would suggest checking your entire wiring harness. I have many small 'razor cuts' on my harness. I have no idea what these could be, but Im thinking heat makes the insulation brittle, and it breaks. The problem is with the Black / White stripe hot wire, it can randomly ground and cause problems with your CAS signal, fuses, etc. So far I have found about 6 locations where this is a problem. So visually inspect all wires under the hood, expecially on the exhaust side of the car. Also I would check your engine to body grounds, and make sure your primary ground (Big fat wire going down to the starter area) is secure and free of excessive oil/debris.

Good luck!
