Question yet another 'idle problem' thread

ok, a few weeks ago, i pulled the Tb off to mess with the cold start idle. i have it currently adjusted to idle at around 1400 when cold. i also replaced the BAC to Tb coolant hose and noticed some of the hose had melted onto the metal of the tb, but it doesn't leak at all. now for the problem;

when cold it idles at 1400 rpm +/- 200 rpm (not worried about that, done that since i got it), and goes down to 750 fairly quickly like i want, and does so right as the temp gauge begins to move. but then when the engine is fully warm, it likes to idle at 1200-1300 rpm...most of the time. sometimes it will drop to 750 and stay there but rarely. i checked for vac leaks but didn't find any, even though i dont think thats the problem since it does sometimes idle normally. i also unplugged the bac valve when it wanted to idle at 1200, but the rpm didn't drop down. any ideas?

my only idea is that there is air in the tb hoses that may mess with the thermowax, but im not sure. i dont know much about coolant flow while hot/cold. i plan to flush the coolant this weekend if the weather permits, so hopefully that may cure the problem, but i just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas.

thanks for any help
