And yet another BAC question.......

When the BAC is removed from the vehicle should the valve be open or closed?

Closed. Either that or the two I have on the desk went **** up when I took them off the engine. One is for a turbo the other a n/a. By the way. If you have it off, connect it to the engine harness and just turn the key to the on. No start please. Now you have the bac in your hand, connected up. Reach over and open and shut the throttle at the tps. When fully closed the bac seems to open wide open. When opening the throttle it vibrates rapidly. Put your ear to it and hear the vibration. What all this means I have no idea, except you could pour a little oil. wdforty or whatever in the hole and play with the throttle to exercise it. Going to play with this when I have time. I believe I have done this on the turbo while the engine was running (another installed) and I remember it really vibrating much faster. Do not have time to play now. Paul Stokes has an article on bacs somewhere.
