The full range will affect your idle as well.

You can adjust the full range by bending the bracket to adjust the starting voltage or resistance.

So i think i finally found what that tube goes to (the one on the back of the dynamic chamber above the VDI) Correct me if i am wrong but is it another solenoid valve that is part of the accelerated warm up system??

The reason i am wondering is because when i pinch that off the car idles beautifully. If that valve for some reason was failing could it be letting in to much air when the car is warmed up??

Im pretty sure that is the tube i am talking about. That solenoid also connects to the intake tube that you can see further down the diagram.

I FIXED IT!! lol. It was in fact that solenoid. It must have been stuck open because i took it out, connected straight to the battery a few times and it finally "clicked" and went back close. i put it back in and my car idles beautifully... Again. right at 750.

Thanks guys for all your help. hopefully this thread can help someone else out in the future. lot of good info and ideas.

Glad you found it. If it sticks open again you will be able to see the rpm drop by pinching the hose going to it. I removed mine and capped off the hose ports. Since I have no cats I don't need the 3000 rpm startup.
