Yellow Headlights?

Yellow Headlights?

Does anyone know where i can get yellow headlights? Ive seen them before and think they would look interesting on my car. Anything would be great. Thanks!

piaa makes yellow bulbs, so does other companies. try ebay or go to a local shop and have them order the lights for you. i know that just the bulbs will not make the light yellow, you would either have to get the yellow spray tint made for lights or make a custom yellow diffuser like the j spec fog lights on a fc3s.

Yellow headlights are illegal in many places, not sure about Iowa though. I would check local laws on that. If you're bent on getting some anyway, I know that you can also get HID lights that are yellow, just look for the lower heat versions.

I have seen yellow headlights at a local shop by me. I believe they 2300k temp bulbs by a japanese company I think.

It should diffuse less in fog and cause less eye strain. Hence why it's attractive for foglights.

However, bright enough for headlight use I think would be obnoxious at best.

They are ok in iowa, my friend has some on his black turbo ef. They are better for fog and look interesting with red. Thanks for all the input!

well i finally found some yellow bulbs, and tinted my headlights, i have a red na and they look REALLY cool, i would def suggest them to anyone + i can see **** so much better

they'll make great fog lights but i would advise against yellow headlights, i've tried it and i couldn't see for s**t lol. it didnt light up the road at all

i was going say just go to a local craft store and get stained glass paint in yellow and paint your headlights with it, cheapest way right there. i did mine a few years ago and they still look good, i actually think i can see more then i used to but to each his own, heres a pic of mine
