YAY! More problems

Cliff Notes:
Car starts, revs to 1k, dies. Non responsive to throttle input. Ran just 5 minutes before(it died and started back up, then died...i moved some stuff, went to start and now this)...just read the whole damn thing...

Some people may remember the thread I started last week with pics of the oil spray everywhere. Well, I got everything together and the sob started and ran fine. Everything was peachy, although I had a slight exhaust leak, a little vac leak, and a loping idle, it ran. I got it to normal operating temp and revved it up a few times to make sure the new bov was working, it was. After that, it kind of idled down and just died. It would start up though if i tried again. Anyhoo, I move all the crap from behind the car, and go to start it up, but it starts, revs to 1k and dies. It sounds like its just grunting. No matter what I do with the throttle, it won't change, won't even try to stay alive. So, what I think is, the oil that got into the AFM(where it plugs in) might have shorted it out or the AFM just isn't working. Perhaps something else that is electrical is FUBR? Could an unplugged BAC be causing this? I don't see how this would be cause by a vac leak, because it isn't even responding to throttle input.

Im no expert, but its an idea. It could be the fuel pump.
If it doesnt rev when you press the accelerator, the pump or injectors wont respond properly, so the car will just die.

If the throttle isn't doing anything, it could be the TPS. Check that.

Well the fuel gauge says I have gas, but I have never run it down to empty, so it might be messed up. The gas light has been on since i bought the car. I'll go get some gas and see if that does anything.

The tps idea is a good one, but the throttle was responding about 5-7 minutes prior to these symptoms. Would the tps just screw up randomly like that?

Ok so I pulled some codes off the ECU...
Code 8- Airflow Meter (AFM) - Basic Fuel Injection and fixed timing (Cripple mode)...Is this limp mode?
Code 10-Intake Air Thermosensor (Engine) - Intake air fixed at 68F
Code 11- Intake Air Thermosensor (AFM) - Intake air fixed at 68F

Had two others but they were emissions related...no big deal.(Emissions stuff removed)

Now, I don't understand the cripple mode one. But since I had a major oil leak last test drive...do a search for "oh no" and view pics...basically oil sprayed everywhere. A good portion into the intercooler. Could some of this oil be getting on the sensors and messing them up(the IAT sensors) I'll check to make sure the TB one is connected, but I don't know about the AFM one, I have plugged it in and unplugged it multiple times. Any thoughts?
