Differential Noise

The diff makes a loud noise, especially right at 45mph. My first thought was diff fluid but the sound goes away under hard cornering. So now im thinking that one of the axles are loose? Any suggestions?

Kay i started off with the cheapest thing that probably needs to be done anyway. I got 2 quarts of 75W90 Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil and a tube of posi trac / LSD additive. I'll be putting it in tomorrow and ill let you guys know if the noise goes away. Another question: how much additive do i use? its a pretty big tube...
