woo hoo

my bolt in reverse hood vent from japan.

I'll have it painted and put on next week.

I'm thinking of ordering 5-10 more to try and sell.... probably be under $200usd.

anyone interested?

it's not the real RE one ($400), but a very good copy that is made in japan.

Wow!!

I swear I am going to start an FC composite parts business. I could make a killing. Those parts are so easy to make once the molds are produced. It all comes down to the cost of materials and a shop to do it in.

Perhaps you could share your source in Japan with us?

I couldn't even find where to buy the real thing. I know of a few people down here you might like to buy one direct from Japan.

Scott's car has a FMIC. The piece he's bought replaces the plastic part of the TII bonnet and converts the now-useless scoop into a fuctional heat-removing vent.

Ooh I want I want. The plastic is broken on one of my tII hoods and that would be perfect for my streetported killa!

Holy **** you have the longest signature I've ever seen!

Anyway, on a more serious note, are you expecting to see any effect having it reverse vented? Or just for looks?

it's for removing hot air from under the hood. resulting in more comming through the front and through the rad / IC.

and NZ. I'll have to try to find out. someone else here got it for me. alone with an RE wing and some other stuff for himself.
