So the two-year rebuild is finally coming together, ScrapFC and BLUE TII come over and we pull the EGI fuse and crank to build oil pressure and there is none. Some futzing with a manual oil pressure gage and then pulling the oil line between the front cover and the oil cooler indicates the pump isn't turning. The hose was DRY.

So now I get to pull all the pullys and the rad again...sucks, but oh well. BLUE TII is pretty sure it's the woodruf key on the pump, he said it's happened to a couple of his rebiuilds. So in prep for pulling the front cover again I drain the oil today, and it REEKS of fuel...now what? Where would fuel get into the oil?
