Alrighty, i though i had PS but now im not sure, im not eh most mecanicly encined person, but usuly can make due, but.. I cant find my PS resoavore, pump or anything, if i had PS what would be a Visual Clue to say i do, or done

The power steering unit is directly above your AC compressor but if you don't know whether you have PS then you may not know what the ac compressor is either. SO' look for a fist sized black hicky right behind your battery. It would have about a three inch pully on it and another lil pully just above it that is attached to nothing. You should get a Haynes manual and stay in the house this weekend reading.

 

You have a 87 base? No power options right? You have no power steering. Lucky bastard, I have to remove mine!!

 

yeah, i got the manual and looked, i have no PS, one less thing to remove!

and to think, steering was so easy, i though i had ps

 

lucky you. everytime i turn my steering wheel when im at idle the engine dies a little god i hate that!

 

i had a person tell me after driving my car they wish they had p/s, and when i drive his car i tell myself that i'm glad i have mine and not to pull it.

 

P/S is for sissies!!j/k I need to find a manual rack, so I can swap it in place of my damn P/S unit. Naked engine....here I come!!
