Angry WTF does weather have to do with flooding my car?

cold and wet seems to flood my car. I havent had problems since april, then next thing you know october rolls around and pulling fuses every three starts. And does anyone here ever get the precognitave sense that you just know its going to be flooded at a particular time. I know when the door shuts and how it shut thats its going to flood...just by the feeling i got when i got in the car......why??????

the colder it is outside, the harder for the fuel to evaporate..........i think. someone confirm (or correct) this.

When cold, the internal parts don't fit as close together as when warm/hot. A low compression engine will then fail to start and flood more often when cold vs hot/warm.

Agree with Hailers, but also consider the possibility that between April and now the injectors are leaking more simply cuz they are failing regardless of the temp outside.
