Wtf

I was seeing if my TPS was adjusted properly and had the LED's plugged in. I bumped the Throttle with my hand and the LED went out. I tried switching how the leads were connected, but they were still out. I don't know if I trashed something in the TPS? Why would they go out just by me bumping the throttle? Thanks for any help.

any movement of the throttle will change the Throttle position sensors position.

But after it was set back to idle the lights still wouldn't come on. I guess I'm just curious if there is anything wrong.

probably either a sticking throttle valve or a mis-adjusted TPS

Did you swap the connection back? Don't forget that the D in LED stands for Diode.

Also, your post title is contrary to forum rules. Please be more descriptive than "wtf".

If the car isn't fully warmed up and/or the fast idle cam isn't releasing, you'll never get the throttle fully closed. This would explain your lights being off.

Once adjusted, the TPS will light up one light at closed throttle, then when you apply throttle, this light will turn off.
