i have a 1988 N/A and while i was driving today.. my redline buzzer started going off at the wrong time. i know it goes off a lil before redline.. right? but.. its going off at random times. 5800...6300...5500.. and other spots. one time.. it didn't even go off till after redline o_O i'm not sure what would cause this. wiring? sensor? anyone have any idea?

The buzzer serves multiple purposes. You could have low oil.

+1. Goes off for low coolant/air in the cooling system also.

I do know that the buzzer serves other purposes.. i checked my coolant and other levels. everything seems to be in order. I'll definitely recheck things today. besides oil.. coolant.. temp.. what does that buzzer go off for?

and TrboSpdAnt.. yeah.. it's probably possessed.

In clarifying, the buzzer will not go off because the coolant temp is high.
