Well, my whole life went straight down the ******* on friday night. If anyone is familiar with the Austin Tx area, I was doing drifts around the research Blvd and Shoal creek turn around (it is a U, all the way). I did 2 successful drifts and of course got cocky, on the third try I sped up, lost it, and now I have $4250 worth of damage to the rear quarter panel and subframe as well as I ruined 2 of my Montegi Racing MR7 rims. This is in my 86 SE daily driver, I had installed a set of Racing Beat sway bars(both) as well as some kyb AGX shocks on all 4s. The car is now for sale in the Austin American Statesman(statesmanclassifieds.com) if anyone is interested in a cheap well running FC. I am the biggest dumbass.

Whats worse is that this car is ruined, and this past wednesday I sold the Carbureted 86, my baby. The guy that bought it paid 4500 bucks for it, even after I warned him it would need a rebuild and started it to show him the blue smoke. He didnt even haggle with me. So now I am out of a car. The ironic thing is that I sold the Carbureted N/A to pay for a Turbo conversion for my daily driver. Welp **** that. I' gonna go sit in a corner, suck my thumb and cry.........

 

Dont cry. Find another poorly running FC and continue your plans. Heck, Ill sell you a good looking, good running 86 gxl, red with racing seats and all power for $1700, and Ill even drive it to you.
