If your talking about the shielding around the exhaust collector & pre-cat, might was well pony up the big $$$$ for the flexhead ratcheting wrenches.

that's stage 1.34!!!
Stage 2 is:
removed heat shield,
spare and jack,
removed sound deadening in the rear,
removed AC/ PS along with ALL the lines,
removed heater core and everything under the dash,
single exhaust(pretty damn light),
removed radio and speakers........

THAT's a STAGE 2!!!!

yeah....on an already light GTUs......but in the end I lost like ~100 lbs. only (TII stuff adds weight to it)

I can, you ricers have nothing on me, i removed ever single piece of metal from under my hood, i dropped some 400+ pounds, its no stage its beyone stages its STEP JDM EXTREME TIZZIGHT. now when i figure out why it won't start i will beat you any day, well after i get my v-tech stickers in

hey, whats the easiest way to get the heat shield off thats right above the exhaust manifold on a 6port engine? i mean do i HAVE to take the actuators off, and if i do are there gaskets there?

my manifold came out with my metal, part of my wieght reduction
check this out guys look all this weight i removed




can you believe people don't take advantage of all the weight you can get rid of under the hood?

i took my manifold off AFTER my engine was out of the car, so i really don't know the easiest way if you have to do it on the car
