This is the ugliest, most disgusting vandalism of a perfectly good RX-7 that I have ever seen.

No accounting for taste.

You can't just say that red one is ugly. It's definitly original, I don't like all the other stuff but that hatch looks kinda smooth. The hatch needs to be molded to the car... that *camaro front end looks better than the RE front <--$2400 for super flashy cop stoppin action? RE wing gives the same effect as a $100 autozone wing, their both enormous and hideous.

He should get fined for indecent exposure. And then get fined for that beautiful park job.

Guys in Japan just do enormously odd things to their cars that we will never understand. Ever see the Batman wing on a mini van? Some say it looks cool.
I took a picture of it when we were camping but can't find it. It's hideous. \
You have to admit though, those "kits" must have cost a fortune and they have good taste in wheels. A wide body kit with 18x10 WORK rims??? Jeebuss....

Replace it with stock rear glass and it will look 100 times better.

As far as those types of rear hatches are concerned, I personally favor the Wise Sports kit....

Damn that's ugly. Reminds me of the Trux-a-rossa kits from the early 90's

actually my company is looking to see if anyone would be interested in a production peice like that. without teh ghey spoiler of course, but advantages would include
*lightweight
*more downforce (due to elimination of sloped hatch)
*lower drag (due to elimination of long sloped hatch)

pm me if youd acutally be interested, even if you dont plan on buying one. im trying to get some market research in here.

I'm pretty sure that hatch was an option outside of the US or something, or mass produced before. I've seen it on a lot of RX-7s. Even my little FC model kit comes with it.
