I love the FC. I wouldn't mind trading it for an FD and buying another TII! :] But in my life, I will never ever get rid of my FC. Well, I still need to go a new TII which is probably anytime soon when my money comes. Anywayz, the FC can compete with the FD performance wise to the point where it depends on the driver and tuning mechanics. I'm very satisfied with the FC. And the FD I really want is the Spirit R. The FC is somwhat the sleeper. People don't expect much out of this old car. But get surprised at how fast it is and still handles just as good. Here, in Fresno, Cali u get mad heads turned when an FC is spotted (S5 that is). Even more with the FD.

yeah, i kind of laugh about how many people think how slow of a car the FC is. i love hearing stories about the reactions they get when they show someone the power of these wankels.

wierd that no one bothers me in my FC though, in a town full of fart can ricers i would expect that they would at least try...

I've been offered a trade for a clean, working FD before, but I refused- so the answer's no for me.

its sad how so many of you even the ones that say they wouldnt trade their FC for an FD actually would. the quastion should have been asked diffrently, "would you trade your fc for an fd IF the cost wasnt an issue?"

I'd trade my FC with cash for an FD. I'm tired of the FC platform.

i would trade it in a split second. then after trading it, i would buy another fc so i could use that as a daily so the fd doesnt have to be the daily. but you gotta think about it first then you go for the trade

I would trade my FC for a good FD in a heart beat. Any FD owners want a stock 89 GTU with 600miles on a rebuild?

i effn love my FC, its N/A vert, the pig of all, i love that car, looks, feel, driveablity, by no means fast but its the best car i have ever owned. FD's are extraordinary vehicles but i much prefer the FC's interior personally. and i love the way the car looks straight lines, perfect setup for a sleeper. see one driving down the highway, looks like 200HP maybe on the outside, with 450HP on the inside. i love it.

Insurance wise, if I found out that my insurance would be lower than what it is now....yea, I'll trade it....but at the same time...no, because it'll attract too much attention, even unwanted attention in my neighborhood. Unwanted meaning, having the car broken into or stolen.

i'm no hipocrite here, i prefer FC styling and soon it will be quicker than a stock FD when i get the standalone tuned. the car is built to my liking, why would i trade for a car that i would have to start from scratch again for?
