would a turbo gauge cluster work for an N/A?

becuz my friend is in japan, and told me he could get me a gauge cluster, but its the turbo kind, and i have an N/A. would it still work?

what year n/a? if its 89-91 you'll have a different redline than the turbo models...

i have a 87,,...what about the boost gauge? since the NA have a a voltmeter...how would that all work?

thats what i want...KPH...but it has a boost gauge instead of voltmeter...i dont wanna get it and not be able to use it...that would be a waste of money...and hes leaving japan soon. so would it work or not? since i have a voltmeter instead? becuz all they have in japan are T2 gauge clusters...and i need to kno if the T2 cluster works for NA?

I wonder what would happen if you just plugged it in as is? I mean, what would the boost guage do, just read vacuum? But I seem to remember someone saying somewhere that the boost guage can be easily removed from the guage cluster and you can put the N/A voltmeter in there instead and it will plug in and work fine.

You can swap out the voltmeter from your NA cluster and put it into place of the boost guage .. it works.. it's interchangeable and you won't have any problems doing so..
