it's gonna sit about the same place a stock wheel does, which is +40 if i remember correctly.

the offset is more a fwd (front wheel drive) offset, im not a big fan of wheels that sit in. if you could find some with a slightly lower offset it would fill out the fender wells better.

the 17 inch size is perfect for a 2nd gen, as most people will agree.

as far as the wheel, it's a good looking wheel. i used to have 18' enkei rs-7s on my vert, which looks just like that wheel, except 7 spokes. the only thing i didnt like was the offset, and it could have been a little wider. i ran a 225/40/18 all around.

as far as tire width/height goes, you're looking at a 205/40 or 45/17 or 215/40/17, which is stock width or one size wider for most 2nd gens.

basically, it comes down to what you want to get out of the wheel upgrade, and most importantly, if you like them.

so the offset i may want to get something with more of a +30 offset or something like that? and that should fill out the fender walls and not stick out way far? cause i plan to lower my car as well.

no if you put those on your car it will open a black hole of doom and suck all of the rotor heads into a world of ricers and hondas for all of eternity...

The +48 will sit to far in and will rub the suspension. The 38 will fit better alteast. You can ateast throw on some 5mm spacers and you can get a 225/45 on a 7 inch wheel.

so what offset do u want to get the filled in rear wheel well..

I was thinking of doing 17x7 in front and 17x 8 or 9 in the rear...

what offset would I want for the front and for the rear to make them look good

I like the way these wheels fit

You're looking for your PERFECT offset, but you're still looking at cheap *** wheels?
Good luck dude...

i would try this site out...

http://www.fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/rims.htm

but i dont know how much i trust it cause i didnt follow the advice it gave. i wound up running 17x8 +35 and 17x9 +40 with 225 45s all around and i did have to run a small spacer up front but they fit really really flush. they might even be poking out a bit. i wont be able to tell till i get coil overs on and lower it some
